The program provides support to women, children, grand parents and other extended family members. The program is designed to provide skills to women so that they are able to help their husbands/partners to deal effectively with substance abuse and anger management issues. The program provides individual and group counseling to the entire family.
Who can benefit?
Women who are affected by their partner’s addiction and anger management problems, and family issues, are eligible.
What are the major benefits?
The benefits are substantial and include: -Services are in Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu -Individual and group counseling -Women learn to deal with addiction and violence by their partners and “loved ones” -Counselor is available on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of every week -Referrals to appropriate programs in the community -Support to women who arre dealing with probloems of their loved ones
How are referrals made?
Referrals are made by calling 905.790.0808. Community Based Agencies, Probation Officers, Lawyers, Religious leaders, Family Members, Family Physicians and individuals may make a referral.

What are the hours of operation?
Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
