 What is the Student Internship Program? PCHS takes pride in providing practicum opportunities to college and university students.  The students can be placed in the following programs – Addictions, Mental Health, Seniors, Parenting, Youth, Women’s and Men’s Group Programs. Students are also given the opportunity to practice their counseling skills and group counseling skills. Students are supervised by professional staff.  Who can benefit? College and University Students New immigrants looking for social work and health promotion experience  What are the major benefits? The benefits are substantial and include: Services are in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu Practicum in Social Work and Health Care Counseling Skills Group Work Skills Presentation Skills Organizing Events and Health Fairs Community Development and Community Building Skills  How are referrals made? For referrals and information, please call 905.790.0808 or 905.677.0889  Where is the Program located? Students are placed in all three offices: 11730 Airport Road, Brampton, Ontario, L6R 0C7 2829 Derry Road East, Mississauga, Ontario, L4T 1A5  What are the hours of operation? Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some are late evening programs Some areweekend programs  |
